The obesity epidemic in America has created a market for weight loss supplements that promise unrealistic results with little to no effort. Advertisements for these products appear across many types of media, and at some level, the media who accept these ads are contributing to this growing problem. In an effort to encourage the news media to revise their guidelines for advertisements for dietary supplements for weight loss, the Reality Coalition, a group of experts on overweight and obesity, has undertaken an initiative to drive a change in advertising that will benefit the millions of people struggling with their weight. Please follow the instructions below to help us in our effort!

Instructions for distribution of form letter

1. Fill out the form below with your name, city, state and email address

2. Add a comment in the appropriate box

3. Click on the “SEND” button and the letter will automatically be emailed to a list of publishers, broadcasters and Web site managers.
